Name generator changes not updated

I have a global name generator KTSD_Students defined that I use in a couple of projects.

When I make changes to it, the change is not propagated to the projects.

Am I missing something?

"Global" name generators (I'm assuming you're talking about the one you find in Tools->Options) are tied to a specific UMRA Console installation.

When you reference a name generator inside a project, the name generator instance gets copied into the project (so that if the project is ever exported/re-imported, the name generator remains valid).

So, this means that your "global" name generator has no ties to the one you used in the project (besides having the same name).

If you make changes to a "global" name generator and you want to propagated those changes to individual projects, you will have to find the specific actions that use that name gen, change name gen to blank, then set it back to the new one.
